Ewan MacLeod is heading to Nordea as co-head of its newly created “Group Digital” unit and is on the lookout for fintech companies, services and ideas to introduce to Nordea.

MacLeod will be one of two chief digital officers at the Nordic banking group. The other one is Poul Raaholt, previously head of group IT at Nordea.

MacLeod is moving from Royal Bank of Scotland where he was senior programme director and digital programme manager for around two years.

He also had a brief seven-month stint at Nationwide Building Society as group head of digital capabilities. MacLeod starts his new role on 1st September 2016.

On his LinkedIn profile, he says: “Meanwhile I’m still in London so if you’d like to chat, please drop me a note on LinkedIn, on Twitter (@ew4n) or via www.ewan.net [MacLeod’s personal website].

“I’m on the hunt for good ideas, services, partners and, in particular, fintech services that Nordea should be evaluating."
