Joining Nomo as Chief Technology Officer

A quick work update: I've joined Nomo as Chief Technology Officer. Nomo is the Digital-first sharia compliant Islamic Bank from BLME (The Bank of London and Middle East), a subsidiary of Boubyan Bank."

I've been following Nomo ever since it was announced. No joke. Digital banking in the Gulf has been a real focus for me for quite a while: I've also written many a board pack about the bank, especially when I was working in the Gulf. I've always been enormously curious about what they've been building -- and how they draw upon the great history and capability of BLME and Boubyan Bank to offer British banking services to Gulf-based residents and expats.

As I've told many of my colleagues (some of whom I think still don't believe me!) I have literally been following almost every update posted on LinkedIn about Nomo across the last few years.

So it's been really exciting to get a peak behind the curtain and meet the team responsible for launching and delivering this awesome digital offering. From a geek standpoint, it's also brilliant to see just how seriously advanced the underpinning technology stack is.
