What is a “non fault accident”? Is that where you drive into a tree, but it was the tree’s fault? Or since you can’t legally sue a tree, is that described as a “non fault” fault? Posted via email from Ewan’s posterous

Hello Square Mile

Hello Square Mile

It’s been a little while since I was last in London’s Square Mile business district. Nice to be back. Used to have an office in [...]

Walking down the Cloisters I came across good old Jeremy Bentham, the institution’s founder. That there *is* Bentham. Literally. He asked for his body to be stuffed and displayed after [...]

An excellent example of why British people collectively hate success

Posted 18 May 2010 | By Ewan | Categories: Observations | View Comments

Won't be doing business with Marlow Dry Cleaners

Won't be doing business with Marlow Dry Cleaners

Posted 12 May 2010 | By Ewan | Categories: General | View Comments

I made the mistake yesterday of going into Marlow Dry Cleaners, just off the High Street in Marlow. I had 25 shirts that I wanted washed and ironed. Since Hetty’s due date is just 23 days away, I didn’t want her to have to do it — and I’d prefer to pay an expert to [...]
